It\u2019s important to know about your rights to health care. The Congress is likely to pass a law that guarantees testing and treatment of Coronavirus will be free. Some health plans, including Medi-Cal, are already paying for the costs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undocumented Immigrants, Access to Health Care, and the Public Charge Rule<\/a><\/strong>
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services has issued an alert saying that undocumented immigrants should seek testing and treatment if they are concerned they might have Coronavirus. And most importantly, the treatment or preventive services will not negatively affect the immigrant as part of a future Public Charge analysis. This means that going to the doctor or hospital and getting treatment for Coronavirus will not hurt you if you are trying to get your green card.
