State Self-Determination Advisory Committee Meetings

The State Self-Determination Advisory Committee (SSDAC) is a volunteer committee made up of the chairpeople of the 21 local advisory committees. SSDAC meets at least twice a year. Its responsibilities include:

  • identifying ways to make the self-determination program better
  • determine what is and isn’t working
  • ensure that consumer and family training materials work well
  • dealing with concerns about the self-determination program’s execution
