Erick is a paraplegic and a dedicated advocate for accessibility and genuine representation. In his role as Communications and Development Coordinator at Disability Voices United, he helps lift up marginalized voices, challenge ableism, and hold systems accountable.
From California’s Coachella Valley, Erick is a bilingual professional who blends lived experience with communication expertise. He approaches his work with both skill and a deep commitment to community impact.
Erick earned his bachelor’s degree in English Literature from California State University, San Bernardino, and is pursuing a Master of Communication Management at the University of Southern California. His goal is to help set a new standard for disability belonging where people with disabilities don’t just have a seat at the table but lead the conversations shaping policy, culture, and opportunity.
