Max Zonana is an intern at Disability Voices United (DVU) and a senior at Pomona College, where he is majoring in Politics. Max has mixed quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy (CP) and a deep passion for disability rights and advocacy. His previous experience includes internships with the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division’s Disability Rights Section, a Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge, and the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. He has also worked as a research assistant for a Politics professor.

Max is excited to contribute to DVU’s mission and to continue growing as a disability advocate. Outside of work, he’s passionate about adaptive recreation—he works out regularly and previously played power soccer. Max attends college in Claremont, CA, and is originally from Mountain View, CA.
